Our Story

Built on a Simple Belief: Your Car Looks Better When It's Done Right

King Kong Hand Carwash & Detailing started with a straightforward idea — Houston drivers deserve a detail shop that actually cares about the finish. Not a drive-through blast, not a rushed job. A thorough, hand-done wash and detail that makes your vehicle turn heads.

Located right here on Dexter Blvd, we've spent years building a reputation among Houstonians who refuse to settle for mediocre. Every vehicle that rolls into our bay gets the same careful attention, whether it's a daily commuter or a weekend show car.

What We Offer

Detailing Services Built Around You

From a quick hand wash to a full ceramic coating, every service is performed by hand with premium products and genuine attention to detail.

Hand Car Wash

A thorough hand wash using pH-neutral soap and the two-bucket method. We clean every panel, wheel well, and trim piece — no machine brushes, no shortcuts.

Full Interior Detail

Deep vacuum, steam cleaning, leather conditioning, and dashboard restoration. We remove what's buried — dust, stains, and the grit that accumulates between car washes.

Exterior Detail & Polish

Clay bar treatment, machine polish, and paint correction to erase swirl marks, water spots, and oxidation. Your paint comes back alive.

Ceramic Coating

Long-lasting paint protection that repels water, dirt, and UV damage. A semi-permanent shield that keeps your finish looking fresh for months, not days.

Paint Correction

Multi-stage compound and polish work to remove scratches, holograms, and buffer marks. We restore clarity and depth to faded or damaged clear coat.

Fleet & Commercial

Keeping your business fleet looking sharp? We offer scheduled servicing for companies — from sedans to vans — with consistent quality and reliable turnaround.

I've taken my truck here for over a year now and the consistency is unreal. Every visit, it comes back looking better than when I dropped it off. These guys actually care.

After trying a few places around town, I finally found someone who knows how to handle a delicate paint job. The ceramic coating they applied has been holding up beautifully.

Honest pricing, no pressure upsells, and the interior detail on my SUV was something else. Feels like a brand new vehicle inside. Highly recommend to anyone in the area.
